I am looking for someone proficient in InDesign to customize an eight-page template for a non-for profit newsletter. Also, a plus is someone knowledgeable in converting an InDesign template to an iPad app. Our office is on the Upper East side.

I work with a number of clients who offer VDP, Web to Print, and Cross Media services, but who occasionally are required to provide design services as well. Or designs supplied by the client are only mockups, incomplete, or not as stringent technically as needed for a public campaign. The demand for any single client is not enough for them to justify inside Web Design staff and, although I can provide simple web design solutions and cleanup, it is best if I focus on the VDP, W2P and Cross Media technical implementation of the campaign.

Therefore I am looking for a number of freelance designers to recommend to my clients for the preparation of the web and print files prior to my programming. Since many of these campaigns involve web, print and email components, ideally one single designer would be able to provide all of these in a format ready to be handed over to the programming staff. In other words, the native Dreamweaver, HTML and InDesign files, NOT photoshop mockups. There are a few parameters for how the designs need to be provided, and I can provide you with these per project, but mostly the pages are standard for the programs in which you design.

Note: Dreamweaver or InDesign are essential, and other web and design programs can be used in conjunction with them, but the tagging the variable elements is, in the end, done within Dreamweaver and InDesign, so the layouts must be supplied in either of these programs' file formats and folder structures.
